. Dr. Hoover received his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. He completed his residency training at the University of South Alabama Medical Center.
He is a lifetime resident of Central Florida and has practiced obstetrics and gynecology in the Orlando area since 1984. Dr. Hoover previously served for 20 years as the Medical Director for a nationally accredited birth center, where he gained extensive experience in client-centered care and working with nurse midwives. He also served as the chair of the Florida Hospital OB/GYN Department from 1990 through 1992 and again from 2001 to 2003. He has extensive experience in minimally invasive surgery from both private practice and academic practice with Florida Hospital. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
